Dutch/Belgian digital infrastructure specialist Eurofiber has announced its acquisition of three French companies: Eurafibre, ATE and Eura DC. Based in Lille, these companies have a strong position in the north of France in fiberoptic connectivity, cloud and managed services, as well as server hosting services in colocation datacenters.
Dataplace expands to six datacenters across the Netherlands Alblasserdam – Eurofiber subsidiary Dataplace announces the acquisition of Datacenter Nedzone, effective November 8, 2019. This fourth datacenter acquisition enables Dataplace to strengthen its position in the national datacenter market.
Eric Kuisch (formerly of KPN and Vodafone) will become chief operating officer and member of the Board of Eurofiber Group from 1 January 2020. This follows Bart Oskam’s decision to leave Eurofiber in the course of 2020 in pursuit of other activities.
The first stage of the new DWDM network for Eurofiber will be completed shortly. The customers will benefit, but that’s not all: this upgrade also boosts the capacity of Eurofiber’s MPLS network.
