Edze Tollenaar appointed CFO Eurofiber Group

Summary

Maarssen, 22 December 2016– Edze Tollenaar (51), who became Interim CFO on 1 July, is officially appointed CFO of the Eurofiber Group effective of January 1, 2017. Tollenaar is an experienced CFO with extensive experience in the ICT sector. After studying Economics at the University of Groningen, Tollenaar worked for Arthur Andersen for ten years and then became CFO of UPC Nederland (now Ziggo). From 2007 until 2011 he was VP Finance with Liberty Global Europe, and before becoming interim CFO this summer, he worked for four years as Managing Director and CFO of Orthopedie Investments Europe. 

Tollenaar has been able to sample the atmosphere over recent months and says he feels an attraction to the Eurofiber Group: “The short lines, the unique atmosphere, the constructive shareholder and the focus on winning, has attracted me to Eurofiber. Eurofiber is a pioneering company with open and involved employees. I look forward to contributing to the further growth of the company.”The annual survey by MBCF Corporate Finance shows that in 2016, Eurofiber was the second strongest company in financial terms in the IT sector.
